Cold connections and riveting can be creatively applied to metalsmithing, mixed media, found objects and jewelry. It’s an easy way to marry different kinds of materials together, like wood to metal or plastic. No soldering or gluing is required with this method.

  • The withdrawal deadline is a week prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Tools, copper and brass materials are included for the class.
  • Bring any additional components for your project, such as; charms, old jewelry, small found objects of wood, metal, plastic, leather or buttons and any parts of different alternative materials to be creative.
  • The instructor provides only the basic materials for the copper rivets, not the parts for your project. If you would like to work on silver, bring your own 2mm (outside diameter) tubing. Any other size tubing may be used depending on the project
