Don't be afraid to explore drawing! Start by getting comfortable with the basics, such as shapes and lines, and you'll find your skills growing in no time. In this workshop, artist Lena Shiffman will teach students the basic principles of drawing, including proportion, mass, value, and line. Working with charcoal on a variety of still-life displays, students will improve their drawing skills as they deepen their understanding of structure and composition.

  • To help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we ask students to review and follow The Center's Policies and Procedures available on our website. Students who cannot comply with these guidelines may be asked to leave class, and refunds will not be issued in these cases.
