Discover the magic of photography at its simplest in this hands-on, two-weekend workshop. Over two consecutive Saturdays, participants will turn ordinary soda cans into fully functioning pinhole cameras — no lens, no electronics, just creativity and light.
Session One: Build your pinhole camera and learn the basics of photography. You’ll understand how pinhole photography works, why it creates dreamy, artistic images, and follow step-by-step instructions to safely transform a soda can into a light-tight camera. You’ll also load photographic paper and prepare to take your first pictures.
Session Two: Uncover how to develop, scan, and print the photos you’ve taken. Discover techniques for scanning and printing your unique pinhole images, bringing your work to life.
You’ll leave with:
· Your very own DIY pinhole camera
· A set of handmade photos
· A deeper understanding of the roots of photography
We invite adults and teens to participate in this workshop. It’s ideal for beginners, students, artists, or anyone interested in the craft of image-making.
