Take your portfolio to the next level with clear, accurate, and beautifully lit images of your artwork. In this hands-on, artist-focused workshop, you’ll learn how to capture your pieces with professional-quality lighting, whether using natural light or a simple artificial setup.

In this workshop, you’ll learn to:

  • Work with natural light for clean, even illumination
  • Photograph paintings, drawings, sculpture, and mixed media effectively
  • Avoid glare, harsh shadows, and color shifts
  • Build an affordable artificial lighting setup for consistent results
  • Adjust camera and phone settings for sharper images and accurate colors

This workshop is perfect for art students, working artists, or anyone preparing a portfolio, online shop, exhibition submission, or social media content. You’ll leave confident in your ability to photograph your artwork in a way that truly represents your vision.

  • To help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we ask students to review and follow The Center's Policies and Procedures available on our website. Students who cannot comply with these guidelines may be asked to leave class, and refunds will not be issued in these cases.
