S101-Art for Kids with Special Needs Ages 9-15

Students with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs will explore a variety of art projects tailored to their interests and abilities in both two- and three-dimensional forms. This class promotes communication, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on activities using clay, paint, and many other materials. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. This class is open to students aged 9 to 15.
We kindly ask that a parent or caregiver remain in the classroom with their child for the entire class.
To help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we ask students to review and follow The Center's Policies and Procedures available on our website. Students who cannot comply with these guidelines may be asked to leave class, and refunds will not be issued in these cases.

Shawn Gosk
Shawn Gosk is an accomplished Visual Art Teacher with over 25 years of experience fostering creativity in
students of all abilities. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a K–12 Art Teaching Certification from The
College of New Jersey. Shawn has significant experience supporting students with special needs, carefully
adapting instruction to ensure that every learner can participate fully and express themselves through art. In
addition to her professional work, Shawn is a proud mother of five and grandmother of six.
