Theme of Interconnectedness. The dots in Yayoi’s paintings represent the idea that all things are connected. Incorporating Yayoi’s story gives us inspiration to create our own way of seeing connection. Through intuitive drawing exercises we will discover a symbol that can be represented repeatedly creating a pattern of connection for a painting. The paintings are intended to connect the painter to a pattern that resembles them. We will practice Mandala and Zen tangles for exercises to form new shapes and patterns to include in the painting. Students will use paint markers and canvases to complete their pattern study painting.

Full-day campers (those registered for a morning and afternoon camp) will have a supervised lunch period from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at no extra charge.

  • **Sibling Discount** If you are registering more than one child for the same week of camp, please call the office at 908-234-2345 to learn how to receive $20 off each additional child.
