Iyengar Yoga emphasizes precise body alignment and follows a safe, systematic progression of learning. Developed by yoga master Mr. B.K.S. Iyengar, it is suitable for every age, body type, and fitness level. Iyengar Certified Instructors are rigorously trained, demonstrate poses clearly, and give detailed instructions. Poses are held longer and done one at a time to deepen the students experience and intelligence. Individual corrections and adjustments are made as needed, often by the use of props. Iyengar Yoga is a complete approach to life, intended to create and maintain physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual well-being.

Aimee Mower Lally
Aimee has been a student of yoga for 30 years, teaching for 20. Her deep thirst for learning and growth led her to study different methods with master teachers. She began with Ashtanga Yoga with Richard Freeman, went on to explore the creativity of Vinyasa Flow with Sharon Gannon and Rodney Yee, and then delved into the Anusara method studying with Amy Ippoliti and Emma Magenta. For the past 10 years she has been immersed in the Iyengar method, and is now a certified Iyengar instructor.
