Understand the power of pastels! In this class students will learn how to work with several pastels, surfaces and techniques. A range of subject matter will be addressed such as still life, landscape, animals, and more.
- The more pastels the better!
A great starter set is Prismacolor Nupastels. The minimum set recommended is 36 count.
Surfaces are important for pastels. Pastelmat by Clairfontaine is recommended. (A variety pack in several colors in 9 x 12 size is
- encouraged)
Other great pastel brands that are optional: Unison, Terry Ludwig, Sennelier.
