Ever wanted to try pastels? Now is the time! A try before you buy type workshop that will guide you through step by step demonstrations on how to use this wonderful medium. Color theory, application, and explaining various papers and differences between pastel hard and soft qualities will be covered. Various techniques will be shown in two works of art that the student will create. A perfect workshop for any level looking to dive into this new medium.

This is a hybrid workshop. There will be students participating virtually concurrently with students attending the in-person workshop. This is the in-person component of the workshop.

  • All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures.
