C104-Drawing in Depth
In Person | This class is completed
This program is designed for young artists with a love of drawing who want to deepen and develop their skills. Working from photographs or a different still life each week, or imaginary themes, students will learn about the elements of a good drawing and develop a firm foundation of form, composition, proportion, value, perspective and line quality. The class explores the basic principles of visual art, art historical periods and styles, and the work of well-known artists. The teacher will provide frequent demonstrations. Children are encouraged to repeat this class to continue to build drawing skills.
- All materials are included.
Jennie Maxham
I started in visual/fine arts and studied that along with graphic arts at Kutztown University. I received my degree in communication design and worked in marketing as a graphic designer for some time. I transitioned to being a teacher a couple years ago and currently teach graphic arts to middle and high school students. I love teaching and I'm so excited to teach over the summer at "The Center"!
