318-Relief Printmaking

In Person | This class has been canceled

In this class we will learn the basics of woodblock printing, a relief printmaking technique. We will focus on image preparation, carving techniques, and printing techniques.  Students will create a 1 to 2 color print using water based ink. 

This class welcomes beginners and advanced students.  No prior knowledge is needed for this class.  

 



  • All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures.

Luzzi, Ava
Ava Luzzi

Ava Luzzi is a multimedia artist who lives and creates in New Jersey.  She earned her BFA at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where she concentrated in painting and printmaking.  Her recent body of work is inspired from her immersive experiences in nature.  She uses an array of media to depict her connection with the world around her.   She has recently shown in the group exhibit Clean Out Your Flat File and Hit the Road in The Co- Curate Show and All Planets Stationed Direct at the Mason Gross Galleries.  In her time outside of the studio she finds unending joy working with her students as an art educator at the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Brunswick, NJ.
