  • Material list for 204-The Art of Drawing: From Basics to Beyond

    1. Drawing pad, high quality, suitable for drawing, something sizeable at least 11x14, nothing less than 9x12.

    2. Drawing pencils, a range of pencils with different degrees of hardness, such as 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, and 6B. May also want to include a mechanical pencil for precise details.

    3. Charcoal, a variety of charcoal sticks, vine charcoal, charcoal pencils

    4. Erasers, a few different types of erasers, such as kneaded erasers, gum erasers, and vinyl erasers. Kneaded erasers are great for lifting graphite and charcoal from the paper

Not must haves, but nice to haves: Blending tools, such as blending stumps/tortillions (fingers work well too though!), Workable fixative spray, to prevent smudging.
