8-B Morning Art Camp (3 Days Pottery, 2 of 2D)

Young artists enjoy three mornings in the pottery studio creating three- dimensional works of art and two mornings engaged in fun and creative two-dimensional projects in painting, drawing and mixed media.
Health & Safety Policy: The Center has updated its Health and Safety Policies and Procedures related to COVID-19. As of August 22, 2022, vaccinations are suggested but not required. Mask wearing is suggested but not required.
In the event of a closure due to the COVID-19 virus, this class will move online using ZOOM. There will be no refunds or credits for classes that were scheduled to take place on-site but were moved to an online format for health and safety purposes.
Full-day campers (those registered for a morning and afternoon camp) will have a supervised lunch period from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at no extra charge.
**Sibling Discount** If you are registering more than one child for the same week of camp, please call the office at 908-234-2345 to learn how to receive $20 off each additional child.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to students who cancel at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the Summer Camp Session, less a $50 cancellation fee, per registration. No refunds will be given for cancellations received with less than 3 weeks notice before the start of the Summer Camp Session.
Behavior Policy: The Center reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with The Center’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures during COVID19. John Reinking
John Reinking is a functional and sculptural ceramicist living and working in Pittstown, NJ. A graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, he also earned his MFA at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. John is currently an Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at Raritan Valley Community College, as well as the Ceramics Program Director at The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster. He is currently represented by Peter's Valley Craft Center in Layton, NJ, the Connections Gallery in Easton, PA, Creative Hands Gallery in Cape Cod, MA, and the Charlie Cummings Gallery in Gainesville, FL.
His work has been exhibited at various venues across the country and most recently at Peter's Valley Craft Center in Layton, NJ and at The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster.
Sarah Gromek
Sarah is a high school ceramics and jewelry teacher in Somerset NJ. She has a bachelors degree in Art Education from Moravian College. Before ceramics she was a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
