Understand the power of pastels! In this class students will learn how to work with several pastels, surfaces and techniques. A range of subject matter will be addressed such as still life, landscape, animals, and more.

  • This class will be taking place online using ZOOM. Instructions on how to access the class will be sent closer to the start date.
  • Materials list:
  • The more pastels the better! A great starter set is Prismacolor Nupastels. The minimum set I would recommend is 36 count.
  • Surfaces are important for pastels. Pastelmat by Clairfontaine is recommended. ( A variety pack in several colors in 9 x 12 size is
  • encouraged)
  • Other great pastel brands that are optional: Unison, Terry Ludwig, Sennelier.
