Did you ever see an object that you swore you could pick-up or touch and it turned out to be a painting? Learn the technique to create an optical illusion depicting objects in three dimensions. Using any medium desired, students will be able to create a modern Trompe l'oeil masterpiece achieving the effect using light, shadow and perspective.

  • Suggestions:
  • Pastel:
  • Pastel Mat Paper made by Clairfontaine
  • Masking tape
  • A selection of pastels. Prismacolor Nu Pastels are a great start kit, the bigger the set the better!
  • Sketchbook and a few pencils/eraser.

  • A few select brushes
  • Water or turps container/ turps or water
  • Canvas
  • Palette
  • Starts set of paints , Email me if you want specific colors.
