Try the Wheel (Ages 21+ BYOB!)

Looking for a fun and creative Friday night? Grab a friend, bring a date, or come solo and meet fellow makers at this relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery wheel workshop.

No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to get your hands muddy! During this three-hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of wheel throwing through guided instruction while creating your own unique clay pieces in a fun, supportive studio environment.

Whether you've always wanted to try the pottery wheel or are simply looking for a different kind of night out, this workshop is the perfect introduction to working with clay. Bring your favorite beverage, unwind, and enjoy an evening of creativity.

Finished pieces will be glazed and fired by the instructor and available for pickup at a later date.

    • All Supplies are Included
    • CCAA fires to Cones 6, using Standard stoneware clay. 
    • CCAA has community clay tools that can be borrowed during class time.  Speak with your instructor for recommendations if you would like to purchase your own tools.  
    • Clay is fun, but can get messy! Please bring an apron and hand towel for each class. 
    • This class is for ages 21+ only
