Explore the beauty and detail of the natural world through the lens of an artist.
Using natural artifacts as inspiration (including but not limited to: botanicals, skulls, feathers, taxidermy animals, pinned insects, foliage, seashells, rocks, etc...), participants will be guided weekly in a step-by-step method in documenting their observations with pencil, ink, and color.
This class is ideal for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of nature, animals, and plants while enjoying relaxing art techniques and improving their skills in a friendly, supportive setting. Great for Nature-Journalers too!

- All materials provided; no prior art or scientific experience required. (However, if you have your own sketchbook, drawing pencils or pens, magnifying lenses, please feel free to bring them along, but this is OPTIONAL)
