Discover the exciting world of pottery in this fun and creative 5-week introduction to the potter's wheel for teens ages 13–17!
Designed for beginners, this class teaches the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including how to center clay, create basic forms, trim your pieces, and prepare them for glazing and firing. Along the way, you'll learn essential pottery techniques while building confidence and developing your creativity.
Whether you're trying the pottery wheel for the first time or looking to strengthen your skills, this class provides a supportive, hands-on environment where you can explore clay, express yourself, and create functional and decorative pottery you'll be proud to take home.

Please note that all artwork will be available for pickup after class has ended, due to drying time and firing needs for stoneware clay. CCAA will contact you when artwork is boxed and ready for pickup, approx. 2 weeks after class ends.
- All Clay, Tools, Supplies and Materials are included in the cost of this class.
- Clay is fun, but can get messy! Please bring an apron and/or towel for each class.
