Relief Printmaking (Summer Session for Adults)

Explore the creative world of relief printmaking in this fun, hands-on five-week class.
Students will learn how to design, carve, and print linoleum and woodblock prints by hand and with a press, including both single-color and multi-layered prints.
No experience or drawing skills are necessary. Beginners and experienced students are welcome, and each participant will receive individual instruction at their own level.
You’ll leave with the skills to continue printmaking at home using simple tools and techniques.

5 Classes, meets 1x per week @ 6:30PM-9:30Pm on Wednesdays
Adults ages 18+
Lino cutting tools. A basic set like the Speedball Linoleum Cutter set is a good starter set.
Black relief printing ink is provided . Add’l inks can be purchased after we discuss the correct types of ink we use during 1st class.
