The Printmaking Workshop

Step into the world of impressions, ink, and multiples. This workshop is a hands-on exploration of how artists transfer images from one surface to another. We move beyond drawing and into the tactile process of creating plates and blocks to produce unique, handmade works of art.

Throughout the week, we’ll explore the mechanics of the studio—from carving relief designs into linoleum and custom stamps to the fine-line detail of drypoint etching. We won’t just stop at paper; we’ll also look at how these techniques translate to fabric and textiles, giving students the tools to see their designs on a variety of surfaces.
