Intro to Ceramics (Wednesday AM)
Class | Available
Discover the best of both worlds in clay! This 10-week beginner-friendly class blends wheel throwing and handbuilding, giving you the freedom to explore different techniques and combine them in creative ways.
You’ll spend time at the potter’s wheel learning the core skills for shaping clay, as well as handbuilding methods that open up endless possibilities for form and texture. Some sessions will merge the two approaches, allowing you to experiment and create pieces that are uniquely your own. Throughout the course, George will provide demonstrations, guidance, and plenty of inspiration while you develop your skills and personal style.
No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to get your hands muddy.
