Wheel Throwing- Curves & Trimming

This 6-week ceramics class is designed for students who are comfortable with the basics of wheel throwing and are ready to deepen their skills with personalized, one-on-one guidance.
We'll focus on refining technique through the exploration of curved forms- think full-bodied bowels, vases with lift, and pots with flow and intention. Special attention will be given to trimming on the wheel, helping students understand how to balance aesthetics with function and elevate their forms with clean, confident finishes.
Whether you're looking to develop a more refined throwing style or troubleshoot your current process, this fun & interactive class offers the space, instruction, and support to take your work to the next level.

- *Prerequisite: Previous Wheel throwing experience recommended.
- 1, 25 lb of clay is included in the cost of this class. Additional clay may be purchased for $30/each. Use of studio glazes are included in the cost of this class as well. Please do not bring other glazes into the studio.
Clay is fun, but can get messy! Please bring an apron and/or towel for each class.
