The rock art poster cemented it's place in the music scene in the1960's and is just as popular today. In this rock art poster class we will go through the steps needed to create a screen printed poster for an event promotion and souvenir. Together, we'll investigate several design philosophies, talk about the gig poster's past and present and produce a show edition. Basic drawing or graphic design experience is would be helpful but not necessary. You will learn the basics of silkscreen and we will get hands on printing a multi layered gig poster.
