"Hello Photography Enthusiasts,

At our meeting on March 8th, we had seven (7) photography enthusiasts attend.

Our first order of business was to gauge the interest in having themes for each of our upcoming meetings.  I am pleased to share that everyone liked that idea.  So, here is the program for the remainder of the calendar year with all of the subjects that were offered.  You can bring photographs of one or both of the subjects for the month.  If you are unable to share the monthly subjects, not to worry, bring some of your best works to share with the group.

• April 12
  • People (posed or candid)
  • Shadows
• May 10
  • Night photography (buildings, landscape, stars, etc.)
  • Environmental Portraits (candid or posed photographs of people at work or hobby)
• June 14
  • City (day or night, cityscape, streets, highways, etc.)
  • Contrast (color, light, or anything that comes to your mind)
• September 13
  • Silhouette (people, animals, buildings, sculptures, etc.)
  • Nature (animals, wildlife, insects, etc)
• October 11
  • Antiques (anything that has been around for a really long time - artifacts, furniture, cars, paintings, etc.)
  • Series (any number of photos of a subject that have a related theme, e.g. Boathouse Row at Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, 4th of July, etc.)
• November 8
  • HDR (bracketed photographs that are merged into a single photograph)
  • Looking Up (e.g. looking up under an interesting structure, or a building atrium, or in a forest of trees, etc.)

Prints or digital are fine.  If you plan to share your photographs digitally, let me know ahead of time so we will work something out either with a large screen or if you will present them on a tablet.

We will not meet in July, August or December.
