Watercolor- Summer Note Cards or Minis

Access your Inner Child and enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon suitable for all levels.
We will start with a brief intro followed by painting in a structured or unstructured free spirit style of your choice. Samples of easy to paint summer themes will be available to inspire your own versions of mini watercolor paintings or note cards. Create 4 1/2" X 6" or 6" X 9" minis or note cards. Students can choose to paint larger on full 9" X 12" paper if preferred.
Play with patterns, abstract visions, favorite colors, or be inspired by your own photos for reference.
Instructor guidance provided throughout.
STUDENTS MUST BRING their own SUPPLIES - please see MATERIALS LIST.
Payable to Instructor: $5.00 cash only fee in correct change, for 2 sheets of 9” X 12” Arches Watercolor COLD Press 140 lb. sheets from block, or bring your own as specified on MATERIALS LIST.
Instructor will cut paper to desired size in Studio. Additional sheets $2.50 each.

Additional sheets $2.50.
Bring supplies you have and/or paint colors you like being sure to have paints and at least one brush.
2 jars for water
Ruler, pencil, note pad.
Paper Towels

Reference Photos for inspiration - sunsets, flowers, seascapes, landscapes, abstracts, etc.

EXPERIENCED painters:
Bring your own paints and brushes or choose Professional Artist’s grade (Daniel Smith or Winsor-Newton Artist’s Professional pans or tubes in your preferred assortment of colors.
Brushes:
Rosemarybrushes.com highly recommended if needed.
Otherwise, Winsor-Newton Artist’s Sables are very good.
