In this super fun weaving class, students will begin the week practicing their weaving skills with popsicle sticks, then move to painted paper plates, and finally will be making their own decorative, weaved bowls. Students will be taking home all of their final projects as well as all the weaving potential of common household objects around them. This class will appeal to all young artists as most elementary students enjoy this form of tactile art. Additionally, students will be sharpening their fine motor skills and get practice in measuring and pattern making.
