In the beginning of the week, students will be introduced to the foundations of crochet. They will learn how to chain, single crochet, and add rows. Students will be able to work at their own pace with support in making whatever beginner project they choose. All students will be able to take home their finished and in-progress pieces along with their own crochet hook, tapestry needles, and a skein of yarn of their choice to get them started on their own future projects. Crochet is an excellent practice to introduce your young artist to because once the technique is learned, the potential is limitless. After they take this class and learn the foundations, there are many resources available for them to take their talents to the next level.
