Drawing is the original building block for any type of art making. In this class we will explore all of the possibilities drawing affords to make an observed three dimensional object on a two dimensional surface We will focus on different methods of shading, measuring and especially the wonderful assortment of drawing materials available- everything from charcoal to pencils ,papers and (yes)erasers ! Each can help the artist in you achieve different varied effects creating subtle or expressive results. we will also look at drawings both historical and contemporary. Come and draw! It is more than pencil on paper- it is a wonderful end in itself.
