The ATLS Instructor course is designed to prepare providers having Instructor Potential to become
instructors.  Applicants must have been selected as having instructor Potential within three years of the instructor course for which they are applying.  The course emphasizes appropriate teaching strategies as well as correct evaluation methods.

A copy of the applicants Instructor Potential letter must be submitted to cotsedu@cotshealth.org prior to the course.  Student teaching must be completed within one year of taking the instructor course.  Instructors must teach at four courses every four years to remain current. A participant's ATLS card must not expire for a minimum of 12 months following the instructor course.

Required supplies for this class: The pre-course memo and directions will be sent approximately 4 weeks prior to the course.
