Reilly Abstraction: Head & Figure

Class | This class has been canceled

Developed by artist Frank Reilly, the abstraction, is essential to obtaining strong construction in the head and figure. In this class we will learn how to use this method to create better rhythms, balance, form, composition, and design in our drawings. This class will be an in depth class on how to better understand and utilize the abstraction when designing your drawings. We will explore simplifying anatomy, and learning to look for shape rather than detail. We will work from both photos and the model. Instructor demonstrations and critiques are standard. This is a great class for all levels!

  • NOTE: Watts Atelier now carries the supplies you will need for class! Students may purchase supplies before class by completing a purchase form and giving it to their instructor.
  • Supplies listed below.
