Learn how the Affordable Care Act has changed the Medicaid program. You will learn about MAGI (Modified Adjusted Gross Income) – Medicaid’s new methodology for calculating household income, as well as for determining household composition and family size for pregnant women, parents with children under 21, children through age 18, and childless adults 19 to 64. Also included: immigrant’s eligibility, the Medicaid benefit package for those residing in the community, applying for Medicaid through the NY State of Health Marketplace, as well as managed care provisions.
